APP Challenge 2 - Green Screen

As part of our reintroduction into A2, we were given a second Premiere Pro challenge. This time, not only did we have to compose a lip synced music video, but we also had to replace the singer in the video using a green screen. This technique was completely new and I learnt a lot of new effects along the way.

Problems with the Green Screen. 

The footage featuring a green screen which we were given was not perfect, due to the fact that the green itself was creased, resulting in darkened corners, which would become issues when it came to removing the green colour. 

We were shown a tool to use within after effects to resolve this issue. The tool's name is '8 point garbage matt'. This tool locates 8 points around the footage, so that you ca drag them around, thus removing any parts of the shot that you don't want, like the darkened corners.
