Planning: Props

Which props to use is an important thing to plan when it comes to making a music video. It is very easy to ignore them, and then when it comes to filming you are stuck and it wastes time. Considering the fact that I'll be filming when daylight doesn't last that long, I need to make filming as efficient as possible, meaning that every prop is acquired before filming begins. 

The main intention of my video is to compare and contrast two different characters. This is why the majority of my props are an item, and an item's upgrade. A scene which will be constant throughout my video is a shot of the item, then a flash to the 'upgraded' item 

iPhone/HTC

These two different phones will convey a real sense of difference between the two variations of the character. The HTC phone will be cracked which enhances this idea of the character being deprived and/or unlucky. The iPhone is relatively new so should be in perfect condition when it comes to filming.

Again, both of the items display a difference in wealth between the two characters.
